Blount Student Government Association
Serving and promoting the individual student and student organizations; unifying all that
Mattie T. Blount can be.
The purpose of the student council is to give students the opportunity to undertake leadership roles within the school community and to enhance the quality of student life by acting as a ‘voice’ in school decisions and planning.
Benefits of Participating
Students should consider this organization because it helps to build character and leadership skills, promotes effective decision-making, helps develop organizational skills, and helps to develop a sense of responsibility. It is also a great opportunity for scholarship awards in leadership.
