Marion Malone, Coach Blanks, Mrs. Tandy, and Coach Merryman,

The Blount High School National Alumni Association donated $2500 to the Track team.  The track team will be participating in events in Jacksonville, Florida and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Mrs.Tandy, the President of the Alumni Association, presented the check to Coach Blanks, Coach Merryman, and Track team member Marion Malone before the start of the Blount Invitational Track Meet on Thursday March 5, 2009.

The Boys and Girls Track Teams would like to Thank the Alumni Association for this generous donation.
