Baruti Kafele

A Parent and Community support meeting will be held at Mattie T. Blount High School on March 29, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Award-winning educator, best-selling author, educational consultant and
motivational speaker, Baruti Kafele will address the Blount High School Community. Mr. Kafele conducts professional development workshops for educators at major national conferences and school districts throughout the United States. He also conducts parenting workshops, male empowerment seminars and student motivational assemblies. His mission is to motivate, educate, and empower educators, parents, and children toward the elimination of the attitude gap.

On March 28, 2012 Mr. Kafele will conduct professional development workshops and a book study for the Blount High School staff. He will also conduct student motivational assemblies. His framework for teaching is called C.A.R.E.E.R.
