Subjects Taught
English 9

I am a 2005 graduate of John L. Leflore High School.  In the fall of 2005, I began pursuing a degree in Secondary Education and English from Spring Hill College.  I completed my studies in the fall of 2009, after completing my student teaching assignment at Murphy High School.  I graduated in the spring of 2010.

This is my fourth year at Blount High School.  I teach English 9.  This year, I will also teach Speech, which is a public speaking course.  Previously, I have taught at Theodore High School (Read 180 and LA Grad Exam Remediation) and Scarborough Middle School (Language Arts 8).

Hello everyone!  I am glad to be part of the Leopard family!  I chose to be a teacher because of past teachers that I had.  Their excitement and motivation was of great encouragement to me.  I also felt that this would be a great way to mentor youth and let them see that they can do anything they put their minds to.  Teaching has gave me a new perspective on education. I have learned that teachers have to be flexible in educating in order to reach students.

If I wasn't teaching, I don't know what else I would do.

Feel free to send me an email or call.  My extension is 30365.
